Abstract
Supplementing a comprehensive general paper on the relation between st ress intensity factors and notch stress concentration, a solution is g iven for the deviations from the limit value formulae in the case of f inite dimensions of the fictitiously rounded sharp notch when shear lo aded in mode II.
