Abstract
A general formalism was developed for describing the polarization prop erties of microheterogeneous media, including the important case of so lutions containing colloidal particles, emulsions, and macromolecules. The effect of irregular shape deviations from sphericity on the permi ttivity of dilute solutions was analyzed in detail.
