Abstract
Oculopneumoplethysmography is an indirect noninvasive technique to ass
ess the presence of a critical or pressure-significant stenosis in the
internal carotid system. Its accuracy, reproducibility, and cost-effe
ctiveness make it a useful tool for evaluating both symptomatic and as
ymptomatic subjects with carotid occlusive disease.
