The diffusion of a particle in a linear array of N fluctuating barrier
s was investigated. The barriers are characterized by two parameters:
cro - the probability to be closed, and lambda - frequency of fluctuat
ions between closed and open state. The rigorous analytical results fo
r limit cases lambda = 0, alpha(0) = 0 and lambda = 0, alpha(0) = 1 we
re obtained. The phenomenon of stochastic resonance in the case of a p
article moving with velocity +/-v and the process of switching between
opposite velocities being a random telegraph process was investigated
by numerical simulations.
