Ls. Segal et al., DYSPLASIA EPIPHYSEALIS HEMIMELICA OF THE SACROILIAC JOINT - A CASE-REPORT, Clinical orthopaedics and related research, (333), 1996, pp. 202-207
Dysplasia epiphysealis hemimelica is a rare developmental abnormality
involving aberrant epiphyseal cartilage growth. This is the first know
n case report describing dysplasia epiphysealis hemimelica arising fro
m the sacroiliac joint. The operative technique described through an i
ndirect computed tomography guided approach limited the exposure and p
otential morbidity involving the sacroiliac joint.
