Abstract
A model studied gas of quons whose operators obey the minimally deform ed commutators a(i)j(d)agger-qa(j)(dagger)a(i)=delta(ij) (-1 less than or equal to q less than or equal to 1) is studied in two dimensions. While interpolating between the boson limit (q-->1) and the fermion li mit (q-->-1), the gas behaves like a Maxwell-Boltzmann gas when q=0 at any temperature.
