Abstract
Eupsenella insulana n. sp. is described. Previously, Eupsenella was kn own only from Australia from unrecorded hosts. The new species extends the distribution of Eupsenella to New Zealand and establishes the tor tricid moth larvae Eurythecta zelaea Meyrick, Harmologa amplexana (Zel ler) and Planatortrix octo Dugdale as hosts.
