Abstract
The purpose of this paper is to treat theoretically the Stark broadeni ng of the 4471 Angstrom He(I) line and explain the experimental profil es emitted in cool (T-e < 40,000 K) and high electron density plasmas (N-e > 5.0 x 10(17) cm(-3)).
