Abstract
Total soluble protein and lipopolysaccharide profiles of root- and ste m-nodulating Rhizobium isolates from Sesbania species were analysed us ing SDS-PAGE and compared with the known reference strains. Based on o ne or both the profiles it was possible to distinguish all the isolate s from each other and also from the reference strains.
