Abstract
We describe clinical and echocardiographic features in 19 patients wit h cardiac echinococcosis, Wide variability in the location and number of cysts inside cardiac cavities, septum, and pericardium is observed. The central role of two-dimensional echocardiography in making the di agnosis is stressed, This report has a significant clinical value in v iew of the large number of cases of a relatively rare condition.
