Training in supervision is an essential part of service delivery educa
tion, yet it has not received the attention and emphasis it deserves i
n many service delivery fields. Interest in supervision for applied sp
ort psychology has emerged only in the last few years. This paper pres
ents issues relevant to supervision in sport psychology service delive
ry and discusses models of supervision training including individual,
peer, and meta-supervision processes within a prototype Practicum cour
se.
