Abstract
Synthesis of macrocyclic compound by reaction between an ethylene glyc ol and the 1,n-bis-(2-mercapto benzimidazolyl) di (and tri) ethylene g lycol have been realised under phase transfer catalysis conditions. Th e compounds have been studied by proton nuclear magnetic resonance, ma ss spectrometry, infrared and by microanalysis.
