Cg. Seoane et al., COMPARATIVE-STUDY OF THE REACTIVITIES OF THE COMPONENTS IN THE SELECTIVE HYDROGENATION OF THE MIXTURE C-2-C-3, Afinidad, 53(466), 1996, pp. 379-386
The selective hydrogenation of the pyrolisis fraction C-2 in order to
eliminate the existing acetone is a well known process. Nevertheless,
it could be more interesting, from an industrial point of view, to mak
e the hydrogenation not only of the C-2 but also of the C-3. In the pr
esent work, it is studied comparatively the level of hydrogenation of
the most insaturated hydrocarbons of the fractions C-2 and C-3 in the
mixture assembly C-2-C-3 or C-3-, and interesting results are found. I
t is also analyzed the acetylene hydrogenation in the fraction C-2 and
in the amplified fraction C-2-G(3) and it is found that in some cases
, the latter may offer some advantages. The study takes place consider
ing the process versions known as tail end and front end, showing only
a reduced number of results graphics, as an example.
