Seasonal dynamics and taxonomic structure of bacterial complexes have
been investigated in a white-podzolic soil under spruce bilberry fores
t and in a brown forest soil under mixed spruce forest. The difference
between biotopes is manifested in soil bacterial complexes. The maxim
um bacteria number and diversity are proper to the litter. The number
and diversity are determined by the substrate kind, less important are
the type of biotope and season. The insignificant effects of seasonal
agents is thought to depend on the high humidity of the year of sampl
ing.
