Abstract
A small skink from Mt. Kupe, Cameroon, is described as Panaspis chrisw ildi sp. n. It proves to be the third species of the Lacertaspis group within Panaspis, next to P. reichenowii and P. rohdei. This subgeneri c assignment is corroborated by the ultrastructure of the scale surfac e.
