Abstract
Enhancement of NMR signals by para-hydrogen induced polarisation allow s the rapid characterisation of [IrH2Cl(CO)(PPh(3))(2)] and [IrH2Cl(PP h(3))(3)]: these complexes undergo ligand exchange via a 16-electron c omplex, [IrH2Cl(PPh(3))(2)], which has a square-based pyramidal struct ure.
