Abstract
The CsC60 fulleride at low temperatures comprises linear chains of C-6 0- ions; the interball C-C vibrations in the chains are observed by te mperature-dependent neutron spectroscopy and disappear when the transi tion to the high-temperature cubic phase occurs.
