Abstract
In the structure of 4,4'-sulfonyldiphenol, O2S(C6H4OH)(2), the molecul es are linked into square nets by O-H ... O=S hydrogen bonds with O .. . O distances of 2.746(5) and 2.708(6) Angstrom; pairs of nets are int erwoven but there are no significant interactions between adjacent bil ayers.
