Abstract
The crystal structure of the title compound, C17H10-F6N2S, has been de termined. The thiazole ring fused with the benzimidazole system is in an envelope conformation, while the two trifluoromethyl groups at posi tions 3 and 5 of the phenyl substituent are dynamically disordered bec ause of their rotation along the Csp(3)-Csp(2) bond.
