Th. Ramin et Rh. Fletcher, PARALLEL IMPLEMENTATION FOR SOLVING THE 2-DIMENSIONAL NAVIER-STOKES EQUATIONS ON A CELL-CENTERED, UNSTRUCTURED GRID, Numerical heat transfer. Part B, Fundamentals, 30(4), 1996, pp. 387-408
A compressible, two-dimensional, unstructured-grid Navier-Stokes solve
r has been developed for subsonic viscous flows. Pseudo-time precondit
ioning is applied to improve low Mach number convergence for primitive
as well as conserved variables. The scheme was implemented on a works
tation and on the Ncube2s, which utilizes the multiple-instruction mul
tiple-data (MIMD) approach to parallel computing. A detailed descripti
on of the implementation procedure for an unstructured-grid flow solve
r on a MIMD computer is given. Test cases include steady as wed as uns
teady flows.
