Abstract
The net absorption oi ascorbic acid was determined in 2 jejunal fistul ated horses. The horses received 10 mg ascorbic acid/kg bw/meal (in cr istalline form or as polyphosphate). The praeileal absorption amounted to 87 resp. 81 %.
