Abstract
It was experimentally revealed that the concentration variations of th e spontaneous magnetization, Curie temperature, and initial susceptibi lity of RNi(5-x)Cu(x) alloys (R = Pr, Nd, Tb, Er, Y) were different fo r various R. The obtained results are qualitatively explained in terms of effects of random local crystal fields appearing in the substituti onal alloys.
