Abstract
A case of resolving hemorrhagic pancreatitis resulting in massive left perirenal Eat necrosis is reported. CT revealed a huge fat-containing mass that was thought to be retroperitoneal liposarcoma before operat ion. Pancreatitis with perirenal involvement, is rarely encountered as a retroperitoneal mass.
