Abstract
This paper studies the main aspects of the ordering capacity of some p olyethers as a function of their chemical structures. A polycondensati on reaction, by phase-transfer catalysis, between 3,3-bis(chloromethyl )oxetane and linear or ''bent'' bisphenols has been applied. In order to explain the thermal properties of the synthesized polymers, theoret ical conformational studies were performed.
