Abstract
A rare presentation of vertebral artery ectasia is reported with magne tic resonance imaging and angiographic correlation. The unusually low level of the abnormality had previously resulted in an incorrect diagn osis of primary pyramidal degeneration. One similar case has been repo rted in the world literature.
