Abstract
We have examined two classes of exact magnetohydrodynamic solutions of a nonaccreting thick disk in the corotation regime of a magnetized co mpact object. General relativistic solutions of the problem are obtain ed using Schwarzschild geometry. Importance of the solutions in the co ntext of a magnetized neutron star is discussed.
