Abstract
By molecular genetic screening of porcine DNA, including direct detect ion of point mutation, Kemerovskaya and Skorospelaya meat breeds were shown to be virtually free of the genetic load of the mutation causing porcine stress syndrome. Peculiarities in dynamics of the mutant alle le and genotype frequencies of the RYR1 locus were revealed.
