Abstract
Synthesis of the title compounds from several aryl aldehydes and 2-nit rocyclohexylhydroxylamine has been described and the action of base on these compounds has been investigated. They have all been tested for their antimicrobial activity against the microorganisms such as Staphy lococcus aureus, Escherichia coil, Klebsiella aerogenes, Proteus mirab ilis, Salmonella paratyphi, Salmonella typhi and Pseudomonas sp and th e results are discussed.
