Abstract
Longitudinal electron momentum distributions in single ionization of h elium by proton and antiproton impact are calculated using the CDW-EIS model. The distributions are studied at intermediate and high energie s. The present results are in good qualitative agreement with CTMC sim ulations at 100 keV impact energy. Large differences appear in compari son to the predictions from the saddle-point emission theory.
