In this study, eight compounds with cinnamoyl amide structure have bee
n synthesized by dicyclohexylcarbodiimide / hydroxybenzotriazol method
. The structures of the compounds were elucidated by UV, IR, H-1-NMR,
mass spectroscopy and the elementary analysis. The antiinflammatory ac
tivities of the synthesized compounds were determined by carrageenan-i
nduced hind paw edema test in mice and the most active compounds were
found to be the dimethyl, diethyl and morpholine amide derivatives. An
algesic activities were determined by the modified ''Koster'' test; di
isopentyl and morpholine amide derivatives have shown the highest acti
vity.
