THE EFFECT OF VITAMINIZED BEVERAGE TAMPICO ON THE GROWTH OF TRANSPLANTABLE EHRLICH CARCINOMA IN MICE

We investigated possible effects of vitaminized beverage ''Tampico'' o n transplanted Ehrlich adenocarcinoma development in non-inbred white mice. It is shown that the prolonged use of ''Tampico'' results in a t umor growth rate decrease at the initial stage, an increase in the mea n lifetime of tumor-bearing mice and in removal of leukopenia induced by the cyclophosphamide (CPh). It is shown that the drink when used in combination with CPh stimulates the tumor growth.
