Abstract
The densification of a Cu-Sn powder composite during electric-discharg e sintering has been mathematically modeled. The system of equations o btained is based on the laws of energy, mars, and momentum conservatio n, together with the equations of electrodynamics for compact and powd er conducting media. Calculations based on the proposed model are in g ood agreement with experimental data.
