Abstract
A high yielding route to cyclic lactam-derived enol triflates is given along with a study of the structural features necessary for such trif lates to be of useful thermal stability. Some Pd(O)-mediated coupling reactions are disclosed as well as the first functionalisation reactio ns of the double bond of the resulting enamide products. Copyright (C) 1996 Elsevier Science Ltd.
