Abstract
Minimally invasive surgical techniques cause little disruption of the abdominal wall and peritoneum and have clear potential benefits in pat ients receiving continuous ambulatory peritoneal dialysis (CAPD). The presence of a peritoneal catheter allows the creation of a pneumoperit oneum completely non-invasively.
