PHEOCHROMOCYTOMA

Pheochromocytomas are rare tumors that can pose problems in diagnosis and detection. Although they usually present with classic symptoms, th ey can at times present with symptoms that mimic other clinical condit ions. This article discusses the various imaging tests that are used i n pheochromocytoma detection and also outlines an imaging algorithm us ed at the University of Michigan for pheochromocytoma evaluation.
