Abstract
Photoperiod has no effect on the growth of embryonic dogfish. Converse ly, developmental rates are highly susceptible to temperature variatio n. Embryos maintained at 16 degrees C grew faster and ecloded earlier than those maintained at 10 degrees C. Increased temperature had no ef fect on size at eclosion.
