Rh. Young et al., EFFECT OF GROUP AND NET DIPOLE-MOMENTS ON ELECTRON-TRANSPORT IN MOLECULARLY DOPED POLYMERS, Journal of physical chemistry, 100(45), 1996, pp. 17923-17930
The electron-transport properties of three molecularly doped polymers
are compared. The dopants have a common electron-acceptor group and po
lar substituents such that the effects of group and net dipole moments
are set in competition. The results indicate that group dipole moment
s have an important influence on the electron mobility, presumably via
their contribution to energetic disorder.
