Abstract
The increase of thr Si and Al concentration in pure Fe, non-oriented a nd grain-oriented Fe based laminations is expected to produce two fund amental consequences on their general magnetic behavior: decreased mag netoelastic sensitivity and decreased energy losses, We have performed an analysis of the first properties on a representative ensemble of l aminations, before and after the chemical Vapour deposition treatment, and verified that the Si and/or Al enrichment can lead to extremely i nteresting materials, which can exhibit a dramatic decrease of noise a nd vibrations.
