Abstract
The bend resistance in narrow cross junctions exhibits dips near filli ng factors v = 1/2p. We show that the temperature dependence of the di p near v = 1/2 is consistent with the interpretation that the dips ari se due to the ballistic transmission of composite fermions. At tempera tures higher than 0.3 K the temperature dependence is strong reflectin g small Fermi energy of the composite fermions. The bend resistance sa turates at lower temperatures as expected for the ballistic transmissi on of fermionic particles.
