Abstract
We have studied dynamics of single Cooper pairs and vortices in networ ks of small area aluminum tunnel junctions. In this paper we report on two experiments: a demonstration of the Heisenberg uncertainty relati on between the number of Cooper pairs and the phase of the superconduc ting order parameter and new measurements that seem to indicate band-l ike behavior of vortices in a one-dimensional array.
