GENERALIZED VORONOI DELAUNAY DUALITY, WITH APPLICATIONS/

The well known duality between Delaunay[1] and Voronoi[2] dual meshes is a consequence of a much more general duality between Legendre dual functions. The resulting generalisation allows the practical applicati on of mesh duality to the solution of physical systems whose mathemati cal description contains a Legendre transformation. Two examples are g iven from meteorology and thermodynamics.
