Abstract
Pure BaSnO3 and BaSn1-xZrxO3 compositions (x = 0.05, 0.10 and 0.20) we re studied as sensor materials for H2S in ambient conditions. Solid so lution formation in the BaSnO3-BaZrO3 system was studied by analysing the phases present. Improved sensing characteristics of these material s are explained in the right of solid solution formation and their ele ctrical conductivity behaviour.
