Abstract
The in-vitro susceptibility 244 consecutive, non-duplicate clinical is olates of Pseudomonas aeruginosa cefepime and ceftazidime was studied. Using an agar dilution method to measure susceptibility, the antibiot ics showed comparable activity. The Etest and two types of agar diffus ion discs were compared with the reference agar dilution method, and s howed an absolute interpretive agreement value of over 95%.
