Abstract
Like many other antigen presenting cells, macrophages present antigeni c fragments in the context of MHC class I or class II molecules. Here we will summarize our contributions to the more cell biological aspect s of the process of antigen presentation. We will therefore follow the MHC molecules from their assembly or construction to the site of acti on (the plasma membrane).
