Abstract
We report on a 60 year old patient with a 6 month history of vulval pr uritus and an erosive vulval lesion which was mistaken for lichen scle rosus et atrophicus. Histologically the diagnosis of an amelanotic mal ignant melanoma of the vulva was established. We review the literature about this rare malignant tumor.
