Abstract
The case of a multiple trauma victim with a brain-stem injury, resulti ng in a syndrome of pontine-crossed paralysis, is presented, Demonstra tion of these disorders in the setting of multiple trauma is highly un usual, but the diagnosis is established quickly and accurately through magnetic resonance imaging, A possible mechanism of injury is present ed for discussion.
