Abstract
Prototypes of a laser heated thermoluminescence dosimetry system conta ining of a multi-element badge capable of measuring deep and shallow p hoton dose as well as neutron dose were evaluated for personnel dosime try. The brief details of the automated reader and badge design are pr esented, The system can discriminate between low and high energy photo ns and uses an algorithm to apply appropriate corrections stored in th e system. Dosimetric performance of the system for personnel level dos es are discussed here. Data for the batch response of badges is presen ted.
