Abstract
Adsorption of benzenesulfonate anions at the Au(111) single-crystal el ectrode has been investigated by cyclic voltammetry and capacity measu rements at constant ionic strength. The results were fitted with the F rumkin isotherm. The present data are compared with those obtained at Au(210). Some of the data presented were used to obtain further inform ation about the mechanism of the reconstruction of the Au(100) surface .
