Abstract
In this paper we review some of our recent applications of the EPR spi n trapping technique to sonochemical studies which include identificat ion of radicals formed in organic liquids and aqueous mixtures of orga nic liquids, estimation of temperatures of sonochemical regions in mix tures of deuterated and non-deuterated solvents, and the identificatio n of reactive radical intermediates which may play a role in synergist ic cell killing by ultrasound and drugs (sonodynamic interactions).
