Abstract
Malignant lymphoma of the central nervous system is usually confined w ithin the cranium, with primary involvement of the spinal cord and ner ve roots being very rare. The occurrence of primary lymphoma in the ca uda equina in a 16-year-old Chinese male is reported. Contrast enhance ment during magnetic resonance imaging is useful in accurately demonst rating disease extent prior to surgery.
